Bronze Medal: Xarel·lo 2025

The Vilafranca del Penedès Auditorium once again hosted the medal ceremony for the 60th Tastavins DO Penedès Competition – organized by the Tastavins Penedès Academy with technical support from the DO Penedès and the collaboration of the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council.

In this edition, the Parató Xarel·lo 2025 vintage white wine was awarded the Bronze Medal.

This recognition highlights the quality, authenticity, and character of this Xarel·lo, crafted with passion in the heart of the Penedès region. Its freshness, balance, and varietal expression make it an excellent representation of our land and winemaking tradition.

Tasting Notes:

Made with 100% Xarel·lo grapes from vineyards located on the Can Respall estate. Parató was one of the first wineries to bottle it as a single-varietal wine, in 1977. We make this wine by macerating it on its lees, which gives it more body and structure. A young white wine that allows us to fully enjoy this noble variety so deeply rooted in the Penedès region.
