Gold Medal-Girovi 2022
Expert tasters, oenologists, sommeliers, winemakers, restaurateurs and consumers have been part of the jury that has blindly tested the samples of the participants in the Contest and have determined that Parató Samsó 2018 was awarded the Gold Medal.
Known by the name of Girovi, this year it has reached the XXVII edition, "Since 1995, a contest with a long history"
Wine from two unique plots located in Guardiola de Font-rubí (subzone Turons de Vilafranca) planted in 1976. Cultivated organically since 2012.
Elegant, round, friendly, structured but gentle wine in the its passage through the mouth. Medium layer ruby red color. Subtle aromas of red fruits, berries, cherries, which give way to tertiary notes derived from aging in French oak for 9 months: smoked, nuts, toast, cinnamon. In the mouth it is unctuous and fresh, reminiscent of ripe red fruit, roasted and fresh tannins that give vivacity to the whole.
