Gran Vi de Mas (Can Campmany)
Varietal wine where we wanted to rediscover the variety Samsó (Cariñena), which has always been worked in Penedès. It comes from the only two plots located in Guardiola de Font-rubí planted in 1976. A full wine with structure, but elegant and round, nothing heavy, gentle and kind in his palate. Ideal with the most typical dishes of the cuisine of our country based with meat, sausages and roasts.

Maceration & Fermentation
Manual harvest, maceration and fermentation of the pulp for 15 days at 25ºC with daily souvenirs.
Ageing
Subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels of 300 litres for 15 months, where it performs malolactic fermentation.

Tasting note
COLOUR: Ruby red color with aubergine-garnet blue trim, medium-high layer, slightly tinted and dense teardrop with slow fall
AROMAS: Complex and powerful in aromas, tertiary notes dominated by the toasted notes of the barrel (smoke, wet embers and charcoal) appear in the foreground, opening with aeration towards fresher notes of ripe fruity memories (blackberry, berries), slightly balsamic and caramelized (cocoa, resin) and spicy (cloves, black licorice, vanilla).
IN THE MOUTH: Fresh in the mouth, medium density and marked structure, the alcohol is offset by a slight lactic acidity, toasted notes present on the tongue and marked tannins that favor a long finish with a powerful aftertaste, sweet fruity aftertaste and a finish with a slight bitter touch that enhances the refreshing sensation.
